4. Simple and more elaborate.

New Norcia is the only monastic town in Australia.
In the graveyard there are many simple crosses on a small plinth for the monks
and more elaborate gravestones for the townspeople.
The white unnamed crosses in the cemetery are the Aboriginal people who are buried here.

Wonder why there are no names on the white crosses. A lot of contrasts here. Looks like a nice cemetery!

Whata great shot! So many plain white crosses .. a little sad that there isn't more of a statement about their life. Maybe that just isn't in the culture.
