Carnation guard

An awfully blustery day with a forecast to reach 41-C, not sure what that is in F, but its
well over the 100. Winds from the NNE, straight off the land, hot and drying. We'll be
watching the skies for any sign of smoke today, its an extreme fire risk day.

UPDATE. There's been a fire raging very close to one of our regional towns, so far
2 fisheries one winery & 2 houses have been burnt to the ground, no loss of life.
Apart from this fire, there are several other smaller fires keeping the firemen busy.
