April 25th , Anzac Day.

ANZAC Day - 25 April - is probably Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as ANZACs.

Love the concentration on the medals. Here it was so darn hot & bright I was not happy with many of my shots this year.....I went to the 4.27am service too but wont use my flash to lighten the scene & ours is a very dark little little township :>)
