He was in a hurry! It’s mating season and he wasn’t stopping for a photo op when he knew that the rest of the flock, and some available hens, were on the other side of the bushes. Quail facts: In some parts of the world, quail are kept as poultry birds both for the small amount of meat that they contain and for the quail's brightly coloured eggs. These tiny coloured eggs are seen as a delicacy in some parts of the world and can often be found on menus in posh restaurants. ~ a-z-animals.com
