I have located Jerry Anolik. He gave me the OK to give out his information.
His phone number is 916-761-3581 Email address is jerryanolik@gmail.com
Give him a call, he loves reminiscing.
He is also getting older and thinking about parting with some classic memorabilia.

A real piece of Automotive History from the 50's. Voted one of the top 10 custom/rods of the 50's. Fifty years later, Jerry still has the car though not in the condition of this photo. But, no reason why someone couldn't put it back in it's
show winning look in this photo. It had 40 coats of silver pearl lacquer paint that is still available today. "The" George Barris, of custom car fame, named the car the Moon Rocket.

If you are interested, there is a 10 page article about Jerry & the Moon Rocket in the July '10 issue of Hot Rod Deluxe. Not Hot Rod--Hot Rod "Deluxe". The Moon Rocket is still a one owner car and is now for sale. Hopefully who ever buys it will put it back in it's original condition as per this photo on the cover of Custom Cars 1959. When Jerry was in Miami in '59, & '60 this is how the car looked. I have never ever seen a car in person or on the street that turned heads like the Moon Rocket (young or old)
