"Woody" says: "The picture was taken at the lake on Miller Road, just on the east side of the Palmetto, probably 1969 or 70 before they started building around it. When we were in high school, a few friends and I used to go down there and swim out to the island and spend the whole day. A small Tupperware bowl towed with a piece of string tied around your waist would keep a couple of sandwiches and a pack of cigarettes dry. It's a shame kids in Miami just don't have any places like that any more. Stephen King was right. You and I grew up in the best times ever."
