I was a young teacher at Robert E Lee in 1965-67. I was an unhealthy repressive environment to learn and teach in. I was idealist and did things that were beyond the expected. Not totally successful, and not without error, I think I made some positive contributions to the my students learning.

Thank you for this picture. I was in Ms. Stoterau's home room on the second floor corner, facing right at you in this shot. I rode my new balloon-tired bicycle here. My Dad had been made Office Manager for the first FHA office in the Dade County Office Building and life was better than Santa Clara days, financially.
I received this e-mail that perhaps someone can help her with:

Greetings and happy holidays!
My name is Luisa Sacerio, I attended Robert E Lee Jr. High and graduated in 1969.
Can you inform me where I can purchase a 1967-69 year book? I used to play in the band. I am inquiring the whereabouts of a few friends especially a friend named Oscar. He use to play the trombone.
PS: please, if you can put a small ad in your gallery or if you can advise me.
Thank you much.

Luisa, I hope someone can help you out with the yearbook request and perhaps your friends' whereabouts. In the meantime, I suggest that you check eBay because people sell old high school and college yearbooks on there all the time and maybe someone will someday sell a Robert E. Lee yearbook.
