Thanks guys. No, the exif must be leftover from one of the earlier pics.
I took this with a Sony Nex 7, with either the 16 mm or the 18 - 50 mm kit lens.
I think I used 30 seconds on the shutter, but I didn't trip it until the steel wool was
spinning at a good clip.
The guy spinning the steel wool also trip a flash a couple of times during the shot.
All the talent was in front of the camera on this night. ~davev

Even though spinning steel wool has been done countless times it's still amazing every time I see it. Nice capture. Is that 1/000 shutter speed accurate? Paul

Yes Wow! I always wanted to try this but never had the courage, love it. Carol

Oh frickin` wow! I think it looks tremendous...I know that PS is a bit gross in its savings options...I generally save as a lossless tiff and then do final sizing in thumbsplus that has graduations 100 down to 1...so a little finer tuning....but this is great...nothing is perfect, (except your photography....lol) Traveller

Changed it out again. Does anyone know how to reduce the count down to 300k without
destroying the image?
I tried reducing it down in PS, but I'd have to save it as a 6 for it to be below 300k.

Very nice Dave. Maybe a bit (more?) noise reduction to clean up the sky?

Changed the image. ~davev

There is no more cropping room on this one. I'll probably change this one out at some time. ~davev.

Nice. Though I might like to see how a closer crop looks; the ducks don't jump out at me as they might.
