Yes, that the Lincoln Memorial in the background. Because I live here I assume not only will poeple recognize it, but that they are familiar with the controversy over placing the WWII Memorial between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. Robin, there's much more, though the fountains (two large ones not pictured) are a big part of it. I'll photograph it some more.
