Aha!! Now, not being that familiar with American landmarks, I didn't know the name of this monument. I've seen it before, but now I know what it is!

My favorite thing to do when I visit DC is to hang out on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and watch the people. It feels like the national town square to me. Love the Washington Memorial in the background.
