Wait until you use the live view to compose, focus, and determine exposure.
I love it although it does use the batteries up quickly.

Yay Bev! I totally agree with you. If I were still traipsing to the chemist's or the local photoshop for developed prints I wouldn't be as committed as I am, nor would I have learned one-tenth of what I've done since I went digital. Your new camera is lovely, even if it's a Canon :)
