"Tsunami" Over the Cerritos Library

Cerritos, CA

"Tsunami" is a bronze and stainless steel fountain by Mark Leichliter at the Cerritos Civic Center. Installed in 2002.

I remember when water flowed over the stainless steel portion. Now it only flows at the base of the art work as you can see from the image below.

I noticed the artist created this before the disastrous Tsunami in 2004
wonder if he would give it nowadays the same name

Nice work of art.....very cool sculpture...too bad the water doesn't flow over it all anymore but it is still nice. I love how you framed the name of the library in the hold of the Tsunami. Very, well seen and shot!
