Stellaria corei
(Tennessee Chickweed)
April 7

Home

Tennessee Chickweed is considered a weed by those who prefer
a weed-free lawn. The genus name is from stella (a star).

I've also added to the MILES gallery.

I love these little flowers, weeds or not! I love your pics of them too! Besides, the Big Guy upstairs made them so we should enjoy them, right??

Really nice shots. Perhaps you should do a Tennessee flower book. Natives and non...Jack Carmen did one a few years ago, so time for an updated one. And all your fotos would be perfect.

A beautiful display. Seems a shame to call it a weed.

You cannot possibly have time to be taking pix of flowers! LOL!

Beautiful.
