This pathway leads from the top of the rose garden down the hill to the bottom of the garden. Dick had to shift this fence and electrify it because the horses would lean over and eat what they could reach. This row of roses ended up like a hedge. You can't see the rest of the roses in this shot, only "Coppelia" which often has hips and blooms at the same time in autumn. I walk this path almost daily.
