One of the programs that foreign investors have started since the election of Nelson Mandella are programs that help the women of the country earn an independant living. Here they use space to do some weaving, which is then sold in the shop with the bulk of the earnings going to the artist. There were a number of women at the center as we toured, and there was a lot of singing going on as they worked.
