This is a photograph of the southern part of Cape Point - this is the Cape Of Good Hope - where the Indian Ocean is commonly thought to meet the Atlantic. Actually, this occurs about 150 KM from here at a place called Cape Aghuathas. But there have been many shipwrecks in this area as this was the most treacherous portion of the passage. I like the contrast of the turquiose water, the red/green cliffs, and the play of sunlight on the water.
