The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is named for Queen Victoria and her son. It is an urban renewal success story in Capetown - claiming the waterfront and connecting it to the rest of the city. It is an interesting mix of old and new Capetown - modern buildins, malls, tourist areas, and heavy shipyards. This is from a pile of anchor chain that caught my attention while working on some compositional themes that our photo leader was working with us on.
