Along the man-made "lake" in front of my house yesterday shooting photos of damselflies... noticed something wriggling on a leaf near the shore. Here it is! Thought I saw a spider waiting to catch its next meal, but it wasn't a spider--it was the exoskeleton of a previously emerged damselfly. On the lower end of the stem is another developing nymph, possibly one in the water, as well.
