RF-4C 68-0580/ZR flew with 38TRS from Zweibrücken. Pictured here in June 1987. Hard to imagine now that Phantom II's once were a major part of the USAFE's inventory, with units operating from Alconbury, Zweibrücken, Spangdahlem and Ramstein in the early to mid-1980's. 68-0580 still was alive in 2013, when it was noted as a QRF-4C with 82ARTS, coded 'AF-407'.
