This bridge once carried the Canadian Northern Railway over Green's Creek in the east end of Ottawa. The piers are all that is left of the bridge. The Canadian Northern Railway ran along what is now Highways 417 and 174 in Ottawa to Montreal in the east and to Arnprior and eventually the northern part of Algonquin Park in the west.
