The terrain in the background slopes downward to the left, meaning that it is on the far side
of the Colorado River. Travel so far has been easy but tedious: I've had to make many detours
to avoid cryptobiotic soil, cliffs, and dead-end corridors between fins. The terrain ahead
looks negotiable, but will it take me close enough to the ends of the fins to see the river?
