This view looks north from near the high point (south end) of the plateau. My exploratory hike took me down the canyon at right: great fun. I shot this as I was headed back to the car (behind me). The last half hour of the hike was dark enough to warrant use of a headlamp.
"Jackson-Kane plateau" is the name I use to refer to the sloping terrain between Jackson Hole and Kane Creek.
