Winter cranefly (Trichocera sp.)

Nortel Woods. These very small "craneflies" are in a different family from other craneflies, that of "Winter Craneflies". These can often be found early on in the winter and later in the season, as today, and will often land and walk on snow.

Another neat "how did she find that?!?!" shot! I've never seen a winter cranefly or even knew they existed until now.
