In Corinne SK. this EMD SW8 sits. Powered by a 8 Cylinder 800 H.P. engine it stands ready
to move grain cars at this new Pioneer terminal. The SW8 was produced in Canada by G.M.s
EMD Division between 1950-1954, 65 were built for Canadian Rail Roads.
This one was owned by ConAgra at one time and was named Jim Anderson.
You seldom see these "Switchers" as there called ever out in the open when they are not working.
