Wild Bleeding Heart

Backyard

This is a native plant that volunteered to live and bloom around our backyard pond. Smaller than the
cultivated variety, it decorates our pond every spring with its heart shaped flowers and when it
appears we can be sure that spring has truly 'sprung'!

This is new to me and I much prefer it to the somewhat extravagant cultivated variety.
Lovely light and dof.
