As compared to the previous hazy visible light version, the haze has disappeared in this infrared photo. Notice that the clouds are more distinct - especially the ones closer to the horizon - and you can see the shadows of the clouds on the distant Massanutten range.
The next photo combine the IR and the color visible light to give a "colored IR" image. The colors are somewhat false and muted; the image clarity is close to that of the IR.
