My godfather (I mean that in a religious sense) used to run Cutty Sark and other premium stuff over from Bimini on Joe Kennedy's ships. They would anchor just off shore, and then run the cases in small boats right up under the casino piers, where they could be unloaded out of sight of any "unfriendly" law enforcement type who might be passing by.

Cook's Casio operated by Walter Cook was down there somewhere. Walter was a neighbor and lived on NE. 70th St just off the Boulevard. Son Walter "Cookie" is still alive and now lives out west somewhere...Probably on the Miami Edison Over the Hill gang mailing list.
