Thank you to Bruce Hirsh for posting this image on Facebook. This new A&P was just to the east of the Thom McAn shoe store on the corner of W. 8th Avenue and 49th Street, just to the west of the U'Tot'Em strip shopping center and across the street from Palm Springs Lanes on the south side of the mile.
