Went on a date tonight without the kids.It was nice and quiet.
after dinner,which was interupted many times by lightning,she said we gotta go and get some pictures.
Now I know she would rather have been home putting the kids down,
but she insisted on staying with me.
Ran out to this pond,set up the old canon and got 1 strike in 15 minutes.
I've finally played with these shots so I can get pretty close without spending10 takes adjustingthe camers especially the focus.
She stayed in the car,I put on the remote and got this one.
Need I say i headed for the car and set up the camera out the side window,but the show was over.
You never know about lightnng shots till ya see 'em on the big monitor.
While it was not perfect,it was a great memory and shot we shared. (and I survived)
