I sailed into a sky-blue Inlet,
disembarked on an island cloud
towed along at a rapid rate
by an enormous alligator
whose probosis dissolved
into a French poodle pulling me
at similar speed from church steeple
to church steeple until I was dumped
off the island falling from one
unreality into my usual one.
