A Cold Heat by Canon Image Challenge

Thanks for the comments, and no, it's not my car. My wife is so averse to the cold that she will drive around and around a parking lot in the winter to find a spot in the sun! Alastair

Really funny shot. At the same time, I remember one of my hiking in winter Alps. We did a break at a farm around 2600 sea level, the terrace was surrounded by the walls of snow up to 2 meters high, so that we even could not see the valley down. But that was a brilliant sunny day and the thermometer on the wall was showing +40C !!! I have to admit, the thermometer was not 'in shadow', but we took a sit not in shadow too and enjoyed cold beer and sun bathing. K
