5th -Snowy Bridge

Boulder, CO

Boulder was hit with lots of snow on Saturday, so I went out looking for photo opportunities. I used the DXO Filmpack Tri-X setting for this. Took me back to my teenage days, processing Tri-X in my cellar darkroom.

Colorado in the mountains is a interesting area. Several years back one of my neighbors moved and built a house just north of Woodland Park CO. He asked me if I would come out and wire it for him and of course I obliged since he was a very close friend and a great neighbor. This was in August and on one of those days mother nature decided to dump some snow in a very small area. They had a special name for it, kind of a snow/ice mixture (can't remember it) that only covered a quarter mile area or so. At 70 degrees even at 9000 feet you don't expect to see snow on the ground. It didn't last long. Paul

Agreed! Very nice indeed. Love that 10-22 lens.

Very good catch of a 'typical-cold-grey-overcasting' winter day. You captured the real atmosphere of it.
