Thank you folks for all of the kind comments. There is plenty of water flowing down the streams and rivers in Northern California after a record breaking snow pack and late spring. Where this shot was taken it was snowing on Memorial Day. This stream pours into a lake whose spillway was pouring water down the canyon at a rediculous rate. I will try to post a photo of the spillway release to the thread. Ed.

oh ed! this is gorgeous! i love to see how the addition of other elements in a scape image seem to raise the bar. these little flowers standing proudly by the beautiful stream seem to say "look at us!" also, the colors in the water are phenomenal. a real winner for sure! shu
