"Fill-the-Frame" Groundhog

Barry is one of a litter of 7 puppies that groundhog Missouri Mabel gave birth to in the Spring.
Barry now seems to be living on his own in our front yard.
He's also now almost as big as his mother.

Thank you, Barry, for posing so nicely and allowing me to get this intimate photo on World Photography Day. I still have a hard time believing that Barry let me get this close. Groundhogs normally are quite skitterish.
