Low growing (4"-8") basil-leaved Spring perennial found in moist hillsides and ravines in rich wood- lands from April to May. Usually pale to a deeper lavender but very rarely white (see HERE). To be added to the Perennial Studies gallery. Also seen as a woodland landscape shot here...
