Bo-Kaap is the first area of Capetown that was settled by the Dutch. It primarily housed their East Asian slaves from places like Malaysia, etc. The houses are very colorful and as you can see have a dramatic look down the slope towards the city with Table Mountain in the background.
We visited this area first thing in the morning on our second day. It was a lovely day with a little overcast but no rain. Saw table mountain for the first time since arriving to town on Saturday,
