Eared Grebe struggling with Pipefish

Doolittle Pond, MLK Shoreline, Oakland, CA

The pipefish does its best to make it difficult to swallow
and sometimes succeeds. But not today.
Pipefish are relatives of Sea Horses and live in
Eelgrass growing below the water.
