These photos were taken on the grounds of Northern State - a former state psychiatric hospital. The grounds, since purchased by the county, serves as walking trails, frisbee golf course, wildlife refuge, and a grim reminder of the past.

It was hard to imagine the conditions of the past on a sunny Saturday afternoon, but there was still a feeling of in here vs. out there.
