Nice shot - I like the crispy sharpness here - it adds to the feel of the brick structure. And I like the view through the portal to a different diagonal pattern. Hey, if places like this didn't get condemned, I'd never have my gorgeous fireplace (made of 1890's Chicago brick from a demolished warehouse structure)!

Thanks jp for your comment. Actually, they may have plans to fix this place up later on, I'm not sure. It's pretty old and would require some brick repair for sure. Here's a closer view that shows some of the deteriorating bricks:http://homepage.mac.com/adoerge/bricks.html

Why? What happened? It still looks nice, at least in your capture. Wow, all that brickwork lost. Neat shot, bottles, though sad.
