When feeling threatened, the Tawny Frogmouth stays perfectly still, with eyes almost shut and with bill pointed straight, relying on camouflage for protection

We have them around the house at night...I raised one once after it fell from a tree and the parent left without it....I have a soft spot for them

We saw a couple of those at the Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park in TAS recently. They're quite photogenic (as this example shows) and quite smart as well.
