A dangerous sea

We took a drive along the coast road to see if there were any winter surfers about.
There were, despite WA's 5th shark fatality this year happening this morning.

A wonderful sky-scape, Sheila. The latest shark fatality was horrific. I can't help wondering if the increase in whale numbers, - almost back to pre-whaling densities in parts, has anything to do with increased frequency of shark incidents.

Amazing light and sky. It just glows and the red on the horizon contrasts beautifully with the silver tones. And great texture on the sea. Sharks? Yikes. I'm surprised anyone ever goes in there. V..
