Many WA wildflowers are triggered into growth after fire.
I found this on the site of a massive 2010 bushfire.You
can see the scorched earth in the background.

Beautifully captured, with perfectly fringed petals (of Thysanotus, Fringe Lily ?). I think the response after fire is widespread in Australian wildflowers.
