Didelphia virginiana

I knew by the scat that I had an opossum feeding every night at the bird feeders but, until tonight, I could never prove it! Caught red handed!

They are such intriguing little animals. I often wonder if global warming will encourage them to move further northward into this area. Fantastic shot! V
