Perfect Perch

A male ruby-throated hummingbird sits atop a twisty at the top
of a chain-link fence, where he guards a nearby feeder.
And I thought those twisties were just for decoration. :)

Very nice detail and a colorful gorget, Renee. I always thought those pointy things were for keeping people from jumping the fence, but now I see a much more useful purpose.
