Always a sucker for reflections. Aziz said they had made this channel a few years back. Before they had used a trail going up and down the mountain sides. Walking on the wobbly stones forming the outer side of the channel didn't seem the greatest of roads, but in the places where we could see the remains of the old trail, I realized our pathway was indeed an improvement. Aziz said at that time there wasn't even a bridge. They had to swim the river, holding a rope stretched between both sides, so to not be swept away.
