20-JAN-2007

2007-01-20.jpg

It was 14 degrees F when I drove back into town this morning. Along with the cold we had a bit of frost as you can tell by this fellow’s ears and face. They are predicting light snow again this afternoon. That doesn’t bother me but the continuous cold does.
does.

I also received the new Nikon 70-300mm VR lens yesterday afternoon so this is one of my first images with it. It was handheld at 1/15 sec. I will test it out for a couple more days to determine if it is a lens that will work for me. It was a good morning for rapture sightings as I saw several Red tail Hawks and two owls perched side-by-side on a telephone pole. Not enough light to get any good photos.

Nice shot, he doesn't seem to concerned with the bad weather.

Excellent picture, I like the only apparent "Black and white".
I envy your snow...
The lens seems to work well!
