Good tutorial. I'm a beginner but I had still thought of a lot of this but it somehow feels a bit like cheating? I guess to make an artistic statement, it is perfectly reasonable to delete extraneous features though. One thing puzzles me - why did you leave in the front shadow - it seems to relate to an external object and IMO spoils the purity of the picture - although it leads the eye to the centre of the image the perspective of the front block does this naturally anyway doesn't it? Not a criticism -I'm just genuinely interested in your reasoning.
