Never saw so many cormorants*. They were spooked from their roosting trees by hunters' rifle fire.

* From what I can tell from other shots, these were all cormorants, but there
were also anhingas in the area, and since I don't know if the two species flock
together, I don't know if these were indeed all cormorants or a mix of the two species.
