Sand Flats storm... 20080521_2297

Early evening rain shot at Sand Flats Recreation Area at Moab, Utah.

About the picture's fuzziness: as always, I spent a long time to ensure that the lens was
focused on the subject. I even fired up my steam-powered Fratostatic Split-Beam Image
Collimator to verify my focusing effort. The fuzziness of this picture was caused by a
superfluous magnetic bubble that drifted across the flats, briefly blurring everything
it touched. Once it passed, everything came back into focus, but by that time the
lighting had changed for the worse, rendering moot any more picture-taking.

Damn those magnetic bubbles, every time I get out of the bath (Friday Night) they are stuck all over me.
