You can't choose the time of day a butterfly is going to show up. I just happened to put the 45-200 Panasonic lens on my GH2, and found that although this butterfly was very cooperative and hung around for at least 50 shots, the light was just too harsh. I also found that for some reason I can't figure out occasionally the GH2 just refused to focus, even though I put the focus point on a contrasty area.
